PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
- All Groups (conditioning training): Tuesday from 6-7pm
- Younger Group: Wednesdays from 6-7pm.
- Older Group: Thursdays from 6-7pm.
GAME SCHEDULE:
- Younger Group: Sundays from 10-11am.
- Older Group: Sundays from 11:15am-12:15pm.
GAME DATES: 06/01, 06/15, 06/22, 06/29. We will also try and get a few Friday and Saturday games in too!
All games and practices to be held at Sunnyside Gardens Park.
In the case of rain, we will post here and the WhatsApp group if we are canceling or postponing.
GENERAL NOTES:
- Don't forget to purchase mouth guards. Amazon has several affordable options.
- Cleats are allowed and optional.
- A copy of the Rulebook is now linked at the bottom of the page if anyone wants to study it.
WELCOME TO THE INAUGURAL NFL FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM!
We're excited to kick off Sunnyside Gardens Park's official NFL Flag Football League.
The field seeding has begun and will run until May 24th. With summer holidays beginning by the end of June, we’d decided to hold an abbreviated Spring Scrimmage League from Sunday, May 25th until Sunday, June 29th (excluding June 8th due to Campout).
The format will be different from your typical flag leagues. During the week, we will hold practices and training organized by volunteer coaches and trainers, with games on Sundays and the occasional Friday late afternoon.
For the actual games, we will divide up players into teams on the day, with whomever shows up. We’re hoping to get five or more games in per division before we break for the summer.
The league is co-ed, member and non-member and we welcome all skill levels. We will divide into two groups:

7-11 year olds: Games Sunday 10:00-11:00 am

12-16 year olds: Games Sunday 11:15-12:15 pm
The cost for this short season is $60 per player, including an official NFL jersey, flags, training, and games.
REGISTRATION is closed for this session.
This Spring Scrimmage League will allow us to build towards a full season in the fall, winter, or early spring, avoiding conflicts with other local leagues and the field closure. We'll plan that in more detail after this trial session concludes.
